Izbuha was founded in 2005. The band plays contemporary music influenced by Russian, Eastern European and Scandinavian folk traditions. Izbuha had some success on one of the biggest Russian unsigned bands website “Rock Geroy” where the song “Penochka” went to the first place in charts, “Ugolok” to a second place and “Korochka” to a seventh. Also Izbuha appeared at a popular Moscow radio station “Nashe Radio” and popular radio show in Georgia. In the meantime some of the compositions are broadcasted on some Internet folk and world music radios. From summer 2007, after recording material for the first CD, Izbuha has become a live band. First concerts were held in September in Germany. Currently the band is preparing to release an album, performing live and is working on new compositions. Members Yuliya Drogalova-Vocals.
