Artist
Ivy Knight is an Oakland-raised, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter known for her atmospheric blend of indie folk and alternative country. Her music is defined by a sparse, “less-is-more” approach, pairing hushed vocals with hazy production and nature-inspired storytelling. She first gained attention with her EPs Feet of Mud (2022) and Near the Lake We Forget to Count the Days (2023), both created alongside longtime collaborator Deer park and instrumental in shaping her intimate, evocative sound. Much of Knight’s recent work draws from time spent in the Hudson Valley, influencing her focus on seasonal change and the passage of time as she builds toward an upcoming full-length project.
