Ivar Vermeulen is a skilled composer, producer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. In 2001 he released his first album "Ivar" which was well received by Dutch press and music lovers. In spite of the initial succes, his record company decided to let him go, due to reorganisation and major cutbacks in budgets for Dutch based artists. Driven by the sheer need to put his skills "out there", he and his longterm musical mate Martijn van Waveren decided to team up, resulting in the birth of RebelMusic.
