It's True! was formed in Omaha, Nebraska in December of 2008. Members include primary singer/songwriter Adam Hawkins, along with Kyle Harvey, Matt Arbeiter, Karl Houfek, and Andrew Bailie. The band has been described by mid-western press as "alarmingly charming" and has found itself garnering the type of attention that can best be described as a small ripple of turning heads. According to the band's mailing list, a full record has been recorded in Omaha, with a potential release early in 2010. The band issued demo cds (on bedroom label Slo-Fi Records), recorded solely by songwriter Adam Hawkins. It's True self-released their eponymous album, which is available on iTunes or on their website.
