ARTIST BIO: IT’S A SECRET IT'S A SECRET combine the topics of futurism, philosophy, political science, science fiction, technology, and theosophy into a modern 21st century sound, utilizing analog and digital electronic music technologies. The debut electronic music album entitled Save The World, was released in December of 2006 by Peter Panos Music, and is the solo recording project of composer/producer Peter Panos performing as IT'S A SECRET. The thirteen songs on the album were recorded on a computer Digital Audio Workstation. In addition to composing with the digital renderings of actual instruments (sampled instrument loops), various acoustic instruments were played; such as a 19th century alto horn, a mandolin, and a Tibetan singing bowl. The album also features eBow electric guitar, Moog theremin, and various analog and digital synthesizers. Prior to forming the project IT'S A SECRET, Peter was a founding member in a synth band called SQUID (Society for the Qualitative Understanding of Informational Design). SQUID had achieved some notable success prior to its dissolution. Musical scores for a television show and a feature film were composed; the band had their own 30 minute television special which was a documentary called "The Great Squid Hunt" and featured the music video "Cybernetic Information" (produced by Brady Hicks); and were also guest hosts for their segment on a music special for Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty which aired the band’s music to an audien
