Istvan plays his Martin acoustic guitar through a series of effects alongside his Korg Univox drum machine Kendall. On any given night a rotating cast of special guest performers add their unique talent to his dark pop songs and odd ball B-sides. After the birth of his daughter Istvan not only became a proud father but a writer and performer of children's songs. The Imaginary Band encompasses all these things.
