Ismayil Hajibeyov (Azerbaijani: İsmayıl Hacıbəyov; born Baku, 1949) is an Azerbaijani composer, the son of composer Soltan Hajibeyov (Azerbaijani: Soltan Hacıbəyov), and the representative of the 3d generation of the Hajibeyov music dynasty. Ismayil Hajibeyov graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatoire in 1972 (class of professor Gara Garayev, a.k.a. Kara Karayev).
