Iskra Iskra (Iskra Vasileva) majored flute in the National Academy of Music Sofia, Bulgaria after which she took a Master’s Degree in Pop and Jazz Singing in the class of Alis Bovarian. Iskra has been practicing music since she was 6 years old. She was a member of vocal group “Trixie” for many years. With them she participated in international festivals and competitions and won first place at “Mondo El Musica” (Italy), „Sarandev“ (Bulgaria). Iskra has been a singer in various Sofia clubs and bars for several years. She also had a 6 month contract abroad with a band. After her return to Bulgaria Iskra started a solo project with Stoyan Stoyanov (composer, pianist, and conductor). At the same time, they decided to invite Misha Iliev in their project, all this leading to the creation of the song “Dokosni me” (“Touch me”). Misha Iliev (born on 2 March 1977 in Novocherkask, Russia) is a Bulgarian pop and rock singer. His career started with several school bands. In 1995 he became the lead singer of Ekzitus, a band well accepted by Bulgarian radio stations in the late 90’s. The song “Syrceto mi ot kamyk e” (“My Heart is made of stone”) kept the No. 1 position of the Bulgarian Top 100 for six weeks. After the band split up in 2002, Misha Iliev, together with two other band members – Dimitar Hetemov – violin, and Andro Stubel- songwriter and guitar, proceeded with different acoustic projects mainly in Sofia and Sozopol.
