Artist
Aromatic and Mediterranean, the quality of the myrtle could well be applied to the songs of Isaac Ulam. He's a songwriter like there were in the old days. He's from Blanes, a town in Catalonia, but you could say he's from some other place or time period. Because Isaac Ulam is a musician like no one else. His artistic proposal is radical, incorruptible. After his first album, "En els prats més llunyans" (2009), that sustains the category of a piece of high culture, he now offers us his excellent successor, "Murtra", that translated means myrtle, a new piece of art of brilliant artisan folk with his weird and psychedelic meanings. Isaac Ulam is accompanied, in live concerts, by Lluís Bestard (drums), Alberto Pérez (bass and contrabass), Román Lay (guitar) and Caty (vocals). This 2013 Isaac Ulam has released, together with Jose Domingo, "Temple d'Aigua i Llum", an album that makes them look like Modern troubadours focusing on traditional folk songs that will make you dance and sing with your friends. http://bankrobber.net/web2/ca/isaac-ulam User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
