Artist
Isaac Slade (born May 26, 1981 in Boulder, Colorado) is the lead singer and pianist of alternative rock and piano rock band The Fray. Slade and band member Joe King attended Faith Christian Academy together and formed The Fray in 2002] after bumping into each other at a local Guitar Center. Slade started singing when he was 8 years old, and started playing piano when he was 11 years old after temporarily losing his voice. Slade co-wrote all of the songs on The Fray's debut album How to Save a Life. Before forming The Fray, Slade worked at Starbucks for several years.
