Irya Daniela Fanny Natascha Gmeyner (born March 20, 1972 in Södertälje, Sweden) is a Swedish singer, composer and music producer. Gmeyner, whose parents are English of Jewish descent, grew up in England and in Delsbo. Gmeyner was, starting in 1996, the front woman of the music group Urga, a band that mixed musical influences from all over the world and whose lyrics were written in a fictional language. Urga had a close collaboration with Cirkus Cirkör for several years. Gmeyner was also the front woman of the music group Irya's Playground, which also collaborated with Cirkus Cirkör. In recent years, she has been active with her project April Snow. She has collaborated with artists such as Ane Brun, Tusse, Mapei, Isak Danielson and Joy M'Batha. Gmeyner is also the initiator of Gipomusic, a music project to inspire and support young girls. Together with Martin Hederos, she writes music for films and TV series. In 2019 and 2022, the duo was awarded the Ria Award for best music for the SVT series Sisters 1968 and Thin Blue Line season 1 respectively. Ahead of the 2023 Guldbagge Awards, the duo was nominated for the Guldbagge Award for Best Original Music for the music for the feature film Comedy Queen.
