Iron Weasel

"Iron Weasel" is a fictional Band from the live action teenage Sitcom "I'm In The Band". The Series plays in Los Angeles, California and was produced by Disney XD from 2009 to 2011. It had two seasons with 42 episodes. Iron Weasel was formed as a school band in the 1980s. They dropped out of Highschool to become big Rockstars when they were only ca. 14 - 16. Their original Bandname was "My Dog's Butt". The band sent the demos to record labels, but none wanted to hear what "My Dog's Butt" was producing. So the band changed it's name to "Derek Jupiter and The Other Guys". Two months later, the other guys selfishly changed the name again, to "Iron Weasel"! The founding members were the english egoist Derek Jupiter (Vocals), the overweight Rich "Burger" Pitt (Bass Guitar), and an evil guy called Brom "Bleed" Blandy (Lead Guitar). The kind, but extremely stupid Ash Tyler (Drums) joined them a bit later. Bleed was kicked out after a few years, due to stealing all the money the band earned. At least that's the series official version. They had huge success until the late 90s, but they eventually split up in 2001. Derek Jupiter attempted a solo career but his album flopped and he lived with his ex-band mates in The Band Van for seven years. In 2009 the band reunited, along with their new lead guitarist Tripp Campbell. Ash's solo career as a Jazz singer was more successful.
