The musical career of Irmã Kelly Patrícia, a Catholic nun and singer from Fortaleza, Ceará, is marked by a deep dedication to evangelization through music. Since her adolescence, around the age of 15, she sang at masses in her parish. Her desire to record her compositions, many of which were inspired by poems by saints such as Saint Therese and Saint John of the Cross, came to fruition in 1996 with the release of the album "Melhores Momentos", a compilation of her previous works in cassette format. Throughout her career, Irmã Kelly Patrícia has released several albums, establishing herself as one of the leading voices in Catholic music in Brazil. Her music has evolved, incorporating elements of pop-rock, as evidenced in the album "Busca de Deus", released for World Youth Day Madrid 2011, in which she herself played the guitar in her concerts. In 2011, she was recognized with the Louvemos o Senhor Trophy, the national Catholic music award, in the categories of Best Singer of the Year and Best Recording of the Year, for the album "Busca de Deus". Irmã Kelly Patrícia uses her music as a tool for evangelization, performing at national congresses, television programs, parishes and various events, seeking to provide experiences of peace and a reunion with God. She has also expanded her work to digital platforms, with music videos and a strong online presence, seeking to reach especially young audiences.
