"Iris Manta is a personal project from Greece. The founder and composer is Manos Zafirakis, aiming at an effort of expressing, transmitting and imprinting ideas, feelings and images through music. Manos Zafirakis began his musical journey 20 years ago starting with the classical guitar and taking his first steps in composition. In parallel, he attended guitar lessons, music theory and solfege. Later, along with four other musicians he founds the "Emerald" a group made up of a variety of instruments and music styles such as ethnic ,new age ,electronic, classical music etc.The "Emerald " release two albums, the "Under the veil of eternal Heaven" and "Images from a perfect passion" managing to receive particularly good reviews by the Media. He then begins to engage in music programming, recording and sound mixing, resulting in the genesis of a ‘’love affair’’ with music technology, microphones, preamplifiers, effects, synthesizers and lots more. For the past 5 years he has been dealing with electronic music composition in an attempt to determine his own personal style. The outcome of this style is the Iris Manta with their virgin album "Mental equations". The basic influential source of the creator in the composition of the tracks is his profound love for space and the laws that determine it.
