Artist
Born in Gorki, Russia. Irina studied at Gnessin Institute of Music in Moscow. In '92, she won the Eduard Flipse Int'l Competition in Rotterdam. She has played with Rotterdam Philharmonic Orch., Prague Symphony Orch., St. Petersburg Radio Symphony Orch., Gorki Philharmonic Orch., Tokyo Symphony Orch., New Japan Philharmonic, etc.. She has settled down in Tokyo since '97 and in '01, she gave a series of four recitals in Tokyo for the memory of the Russian composer, N. Medtner.
