Instead of a Kill is a deathcore/death metal band from Belgrade, Serbia. The band was formed in 2009 by Jovan Dorkin (Draconic) and Marko Galantić who are also the only founding members remaining. The band has recorded a demo called "Divination" in 2009 and a single titled "Awake I Die" in 2013 which was followed by signing with 10th Legion Records from Australia and announcing release of a full-length LP titled "Skinwalker" in 2013. The line-up is completed by Marko Danilović (Space Eater) on drums, Vuk Stanovčić on bass, and Nenad Domuz (Everything's Right) on guitar. Skinwalker was met with positive response and it's currently available for streaming at their official Bandcamp page (http://insteadofakill.bandcamp.com/). On Fall 2013, Instead of a Kill began the writing process for the next album, which will be "more brutal, heavier, and more technical."
