One is an old hand in Dresden's electronic music scene and the other a really fulltime musician. Both met each other in January 2006 at the music bar Altes Wettbüro. After some endless hours producing music they released 3 records on ETUI. The first ETUI from both called "Dschoaenna" takes us to an exciting trip through minimal-trance and underground-pop. ETUI 005 called "free me" is a cheeky statement on the wide range of clubmusic. The new one called "Kassensturz" includes a flippy techno track for the peaktime and 2 dreamy solo tracks for the affects. Indeed their tunes have a lot of melodic aspects but also very groovy or sometimes straigt beat elements. The livesound of Insect & Matschiste is characterized by a lot of hardware. Free improvised play with the keys and percussion combined with live vocals are showing different aspects of electronic club music.
