Ingrid Simons is a Dutch singer with a huge body of work, despite rarely releasing any solo material. She is the mother of Eva Simons and the ex-wife of Gordon. In 2002 she went to Eurovision for Belgium as part of Sergio & The Ladies with Ibernice Macbean and Jody Pijper, while in 2001 she finished as runner up in the Dutch national finals as a part of Ebonique. In 2003 they made one final attempt but they did not win. In 1996 she already went to Eurovision as a backingvocalist for Maxime & Franklin Brown. Other claims to fame include singing the theme song to the soap opera 'Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden' for many years and providing vocals for some of T-Spoon's and DJ Paul Elstak's hits. Still, most of her body of work includes backing vocals for a huge amount of artists, mainly Dutch and Flemish, including Anita Meyer, Lionel Richie, Isabelle A, Henk Westbroek, Lisa Boray, Patricia Paay, Danny De Munk, Leona Philippo, Khadja Nin, Patty Brard, Claudia Chin, Ruth Jacott, Edsilia Rombley, CB Milton, Dana International, Helmut Lotti, Jody Bernal, Dana Winner, Belle Perez, Hind, Jamai, Wim Soutaer, Kane, René Froger, Kate Ryan, Marco Borsato, Lee Towers, Ben Saunders and many others.
