Abyssal Plane is the debut album of Miami-born DJ Inga Ambrosia. Inga has been a DJ in South Florida for almost five years. She has found her niche by playing at conscious, spiritual, artistic and wellness events. The places she's performed include the Standard Hotel, Vagabond, PS-14, Circa28, Whole Foods, Art Rouge Gallery and many more. Inga has been inspired by such artists as Prince, Herbie Hancock, Biosphere, Tosca, Boozoo Bajou, Tara Putra, System 7, Daft Punk, Massive Attack, Hooverphonic, Phutureprimitive and many more. Her eclectic taste ranges from psychedelic to ambient, and funk to melodic house. One cannot put her music into any one genre or category, because it crosses multiple dimensions and eras within a track. The style of her music is a fusion of ambient, trip-hop, jazz, tribal and drones. Tracks such as Atlantis, Ceremony and Mother Nature were inspired by the drum circles that gather on the full moon and new moon in Miami Beach. Her musical vault is very unique in that she prefers to play independent world music and lesser known artists, rather than the conventional Top 40. Inga is a proud vegan and educates the public through her very popular blog, Miami Vegan, which she started in June 2006.
