Roland Young, who had already recorded with a vocal group Roland Young And The Velveteers, relocated to San Francisco in the 1960s where, as a jazz saxophonist, he formed the electroacoustic ensemble Infinite Sound with Glenn Howell (bass, percussion and vocals) and Aisha Kahlil (percussions and vocals), documented on Infinite Sound (1976).
