about

"Infinite Squid" is a progressive-rock band primarily made of one member, unnamed, and an old member of Liberty Hall Collective. While primarily uploading covers in the band's beginning days, they sparked off with a progressive collaboration with UK band "Memento Mori." Their debut single released on October 24th, named "Binary." The song was composed with the vocalist on guitar and bass, and previous drummer of Liberty Hall Collective on the bongo and tabla. This song seems to be a warning sign about the problem of corporate greed and the destruction of the planet, and how it is “pulling us to darker days.” The song seems to tell a story of how his warnings were silenced, and humanity has reached past the point of no return. The narrator hints throughout the song that the time for a call to action is over, and self-inflicted doom is impending.
