Artist
Iv been listening to 'Drum 'n' 'Bass' solid and following the scene for over 10 years. I love all types of D'n'B and always have but my favourite stuff is the darker stuff really. I use to listen to pirate radio back in the day to hear Jungle back in 94 / 95. I didn't really know what the music was, I just liked it, It was spacey and futuristic. I loved the 'Atmospheres', and the 'Breaks', not forgetting the 'Bass'. It wasn't until 96 that i discovered 'Drum 'n' Bass', that was when i heard 'John Peel' one night and he played a track by 'Goldie' called 'A Sense Of Rage VIP'. That track was probably the first 'D'n'B' track i ever heard and my interest in the music gradually grew from there. At this time though 'Hip-Hop' was my favourite music, artists like Mobb Deep, Smif 'n' Wessun, Black Moon, Heltah Skeltah, O.G.C., AZ, Nas, Group Homes, The Fugees. I started DJ'ing in 2001 and started messing about Producing tracks in 2004, its taken a while but now i feel im starting to get somewhere with it. In the last year or so iv met so many DJ's and Producers and even started up a D'n'B night with my mate 'Little Legs'.
