Band Members: Scott Alexander (vocals/guitar) Tony Gilfellon (vocals/guitar) Miguel Navarro (drums) Pete Gilfellon (bass) I am not close to this band however i like their music and have met the members and they are all very down to earth great guys.. here is a review that i picked up from there myspace. Manchester Evening News review Indigo Jones - 40 Miles (Skinny Dog Records) ****** by Paul O'Brien MANCHESTER could well be the most musically diverse city in the UK, if not Europe. Itd be so easy for bands to come out wanting to still sound like Oasis, Joy Division or Doves, but they dont, every now and again a band like Indigo Jones come to the front, and believe me, nobody sounds like these guys. 40 Miles is a unique blend of unconventional blues and folk, with beautiful, yet sleazy lyrics. Concocted on the back bone of traditionalism, this three piece seem to have found their perfect blend with this, their third album. Indigo Jones are in good company on Skinny Dog Records, mentored by Guy Garvey and with stable mates I Am Kloot there could well be the perfect grouping to get this band to the fore front. Theyve already supported the Kloot boys and Elbow, and Im sure if this album is anything to go by well get the opportunity to see them headlining there own tour.
