Indian Manhood is the project of Forrest Marquisee and Glenn Gatzke of Fredericksburg, Virginia. www.indianmanhood.tumblr.com, www.indianmanhood.bandcamp.com. Their sound can be described as folk influenced, but echoes of early psychedelia and garage rock, swamp rock, and country are present. Their live shows are aided by Charlie Devine on bass and occasionally Daniel Bachman (of Sacred Harp fame) on guitar, sitar, saw, and jew's harp.
