inanis : empty, vain, inane. excrucio : to torment, torture, cause great pain. Inanis Excrucio is an electronic project started in 2008. Having only basic equipment, Inanis taught himself by making simple mixes, songs, and sound effects. At the beginning of 2009, he put his first single "Crossfix" online for others to hear. Having this new found confidence in his work, he began joining in remix contests and producing music. Today, he continues this ongoing learning process, taking elements such as 8-bit audio, new age drum beats, glitches, and vocal manipulation to produce and record his mixes.
