Los Angeles-based hard rockers In Urgency have unleashed "Stitches", the first single and music video from their self-titled debut EP. Fusing the melodic hooks of alt-rock with the urgency and weight of post-hardcore/pop punk, In Urgency have found a winning formula for their own brand of anthemic hard rock. The band began, as many do, in the dissolution of a former act. Initially, the three members had been part of an A Day to Remember-style act called The Hollowed. After a tumultuous and hostile split from that group, they decided to invest all their time and energy in putting together a new band. This new act would afford them the chance to create a sound all their own, something closer to the mainstream, radio-friendly metal they heard in their heads. After working for almost a year, In Urgency made their band debut and released "Stitches" in September 2014. The single immediately hit with an audience of passionate rocks fans. It didn't hurt that the music video directed by Arran Alps was released at the same time and featured the band rocking out alongside lush, visually stunning footage of a scantily-clad beauty. Their self-titled debut EP came next, dropping in December 2014. Around the release of the EP, the band also made their live show debut at the House of Blues in Anaheim, CA. The buzz on In Urgency after the release of the EP and their live show is palpable. Now they're looking to expand upon the sound they've created, collaborating with EP producer Johnny Li
