In Tall Buildings is American musician (piano, guitar, drums) and producer Erik Hall (born 1981) currently living in Galien, MI (In Tall Buildings is also the title of a John Hartford song). Hall was a percussionist in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and studied music and audio engineering at the University of Michigan. As a multi-instrumentalist, Hall has played electric guitar and percussion in NOMO, fuzzed-out bass in His Name Is Alive, and Motown-inspired drums in Saturday Looks Good To Me. His albums include In Tall Buildings (2010), Driver (2015), Akinetic (2018). As a producer/engineer, Hall has made records for Lean Year (Western Vinyl), Justin Walter (Kranky), and Bambi Kino Duo (International Anthem).
