The Icarus Foray is a retro-ambient space music exploration from Los Angeles musician John-Mark Austin. While clearly inspired by early space music pioneers, Austin forges his own path with elements of storytelling, sound design and lush ethereal soundscapes intertwined with orchestral passages, angelic choirs, and electronic meditations. The project was included in the Hearts of Space broadcast Stellar Visions, as well as Chuck van Zyl's Star's End and SomaFM. Information about Immersion Theory can be found at www.immersiontheory.com Immersion Theory's downtempo sister project is Raygun Ballet, featuring the 2012 release World That Wasn't.
