Imbroco was started by Gabe and Scott from Mineral soon after the recording of their second full length album EndSerenading. Band members included Scott McCarver (ex-Mineral), Gabe Wiley (Pop Unknown, ex-Mineral), Matt Breedlove (Pop Unknown) and Rory Phillips (The Impossibles, ex-The Stereo). Their only album "Are You My Lionkiller?" was released by Deep Elm Records. Their music is characterized by beautiful instrumentation, immaculate guitar work, meticulous percussion and tender vocals, delivering an onslaught of what is truly respectable in the underground. This was one of three bands to rise from the ashes of Mineral (others include Pop Unknown and The Gloria Record).
