Ill Fated Youth was a punk rock band formed in 1998 by three Albany, NY area teens who met via the upstate NY punk and hardcore scene. Among the band's many stylistic influences were pogo-punk, street-core, west-coast hardcore, skate punk, and New York hardcore. Lyrical topics ranged from socio-political injustice to tongue-in-cheek love stories. The band broke up shortly after their eponymous 1999 release.
