Ile de France is a Rock band from Paris tied to Rock Identitaire Français. The band was formed by Cathie Mollius and Jean-Christophe Bru in March 1995 after they left Vae Victis. Their music was influenced by Hardcore Punk, Funk Rock, Celtic Rock, Alternative Rock and later Nu-Metal. Unlike some Identitarian Rock bands who focused more on cultural symbols and national identity, Ile de France was expressly Third Positionist in songs criticizing Capitalism as fiercely as Communism.
