Ik Ben means "I am" in Dutch. The Hylbert brothers, or Eel Bear brothers if pronounced, say, in a cafe on the boulevard in Paris, enjoy making music that is "too rock for country and too country for rock" as it were. In Nashville they collaborate with friends in various combinations and occasionally venture off to distant places to reconnect with real audiences. Look for a 2008 release of the much ballyhooed "Ocean Way Sessions" material.
