Idee Du Femelle is an electronic / new age project and alias of Barcelonian producer Toni Parera. The project has recently garnered traction due to the restoration/remastering of originally produced tapes from the 80's. A versatile musician in the late 80s, he released 10 experimental music tapes during this decade. Parera composed in various electronic styles (new age, experimental, Berlin school, ambient, etc.) Today the influence of Idee Du Femelle is much more extended to other musical genres, such as smooth jazz, new age and chillout, not to forget its classic notes within the traditional electronic music. It was 1984 when avantgarde electronic sounds began to take shape. Before digital formats, when the means to experiment with electronic music were scarce, Idee Du Femelle managed to record 8 cassettes, most of them self-produced and distributed by mail.
