Icy Blu (born Laurel Urchik on June 1, 1974 in Austin, Texas) was a dance pop/rap artist who has since retired. She achieved a quick burst of success in the early 90s, when she was labeled as the "female Vanilla Ice". She is currently thought of as a 'two-hit-wonder', based on the success of her two first singles. "Pump It (Nice 'An Hard)", also known as "Pump It Nice 'An Hard"/"Pump It (Nice and Hard)"/etc. or just as "Pump It", was a cult club hit and managed to peak at #78 on the Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up "I Wanna Be Your Girl" peaked at #46 on the Billboard Hot 100 as well as #45 on Billboard's Hot Singles Sales chart and #47 on Billboard's Hot 100 Airplay chart.
