Ice Guild Kaiser is a drone-folk recording project of C.P. McDill (other projects include Saluki Regicide, Djinnestan, Akashic Crow's Nest, Rowboat Magicians, and Tree Helicopter). It is primarily a side project of Saluki Regicide (thus the anagram), a place to experiment with sounds that arise outside the usual Saluki Regicide personality, but which may find a place in there later. The project itself arose in 2011 on a release called "Rain" on the Webbed Hand netlabel. The next release was "Asphalt's Parakeet" on the Buddhist On Fire netlabel. This is an active project and its discography is growing quickly. Thus far all Ice Guild Kaiser releases can be downloaded for free, and are Creative Commons licensed, which gives permission for their use in podcasts and other media.
