Ian’s Tracks is a unique music & travel brand created by singer/songwriter and entrepreneur, Ian Markx (formally known as MARKX). Ian writes songs for TV & film, inspired by the incredible stories of people & places from his travels. Ian uses his vibrant multimedia platform to motivate, inspire & empower creativity & promote awareness & discussion around mental health. Having turned his back on a successful corporate career, Ian has since written songs with writers behind Beyoncé, JLO, Leann Rimes, Paloma Faith & many more. In 2017 he founded The Song Sanctuary - unique industry songwriting camps and showcases. He is also the frontman/ Band Manager of award- winning party band The Fireflies. Ian is working on his follow up album ‘Tales From The Hostel Roof’ – coming late 2024 His captivating songs about love, life, loss & laughter have been well received by Radio 2 head Jeff Smith & he has been BBC Introducing Track Of The Day on three occasions.
