Ian Ion is the stage name of Ian Johansson, an electronic artist from Denmark. As a founding member of some of the most noted Danish electronic bands (Russia Heat, Overlords, The, Koxbox, Sri Hari, Conamore and Saiko-Pod) over the last twenty years, Ian has not only kept an innovative spirit alive but also enjoyed tremendous success doing so. Ian began recording and producing music in 1985, and has worked in many areas of the music industry including producing, programming, composing, DJing, engineering, mastering, teaching, consulting work, visuals, promotion and sales. Behind the scenes, Ian has worked for Sony Playstation, Roskilde Festival, Bang & Olufsen, Denmark's Radio, TC Electronic, The Danish Music Academy and others.
