Ian Bramble is a Cardiff born Midlander, now living in Banbury UK. First started playing in Austrey Working Man's Club and local pubs with renditions of FreeBird and other tracks by Lynyrd Skynyrd , hard rock covers, blues and boogie on the piano. First real job was playing Hammond and piano around the UK and Europe for Leicester's Wild Man Mick Pini Blues Band, following with stints with various Leicester artists including Diesel Park West. He has also recorded since with many name artists from the worlds of pop, folk, blues and rock on keys, slide guitar and guitar. Hurricane Ride material was recorded with other members of The Diesels including Ian Michie, event manager for The Strawberry Fields music festival in the Midlands UK ( www.strawberryfields.com ) on some bass tracks and Dave Anderson on drums. This line up also recorded 2 albums with The Diesel's singer John Butler. Mark Lee also played bass on some tracks. More recently Bramble has recorded 2 albums of mainly self penned material with Status Quo's John Coghlan on drums, and The Popes violinist Dave Allen, of trademark hard slide guitar, blues/folk standards and indie rock. The first album is expected to be released in 2012 with gigs as Bramble and Coghlan. A Xmas Song was recorded also with John Coghlan ( www.youtube.com/ijbramble ).
