IainK is a sole artist/DJ born 9th March 1988 in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. For the most part of his life he has lived there. From a young age IainK was into his Chart and Hip-Hop music, but as he grew older he discovered more tailored genres including Dance and Techno. From there House, Electro, Drum&Bass and Hardcore fell into place. As of 2005 IainK started to make music, starting out with simple slow raw old school sounding tunes progressing to a more upbeat electro/bass sound. Mostly influenced by The Gorillaz, Daft Punk, Future Prohpecies, Benny Page, New Order, Blue Mondays, Red Hot Chilis, Keane, Audio Bullies, The Prodigy, Rodney P and The Dub Pistols.
