Ani Phearce is among the breed of new DJs ans producers who continue to deliver quality dance music for all to admire. His interest in music developed when he was nine years old, listening to Paco's legendary dance parties on 92.3 WKTU FM New York. For years Phearce deejayed disco, high energy and punk rock parties until house music was born. Eventually, this led to a professional DJ career travelling throughout America and abroud. In addition, Phearce became a resident DJ at the Subliminal Sessions parties in New York along side Erick Morillo from the party's inception to 2001. Moved by the rhythm and throbbing bass of house music, Phearce decided to take his career in music one step further and began producing the music that he felt would be the rave of the next generation! His early productions and remixes include the #1 Billboard hit singles "House of Love" by Smooth Touch, "100% Pure Love" and "What I Need" by Crystal Waters, "Find Another Woman" by Reina, "Got To Dance Disco" by H.O.G. presents The Grooveliners and "Go On Move by Reel 2 Real. He also co-wrote and produced Carlos Santana's "The Vibe", that's available on Arista. During his pursuit of a production career, Phearce gained valuable experience on the business side of the industry while working at Strictly Rhythm and Subliminal.
