IZ*ONE (Korean: 아이즈원; Japanese: アイズワン; pronounced "eyes one") was a 12-member South Korean–Japanese girl group formed through the Mnet reality competition show PRODUCE 48. They were managed by Off the Record Entertainment and Swing Entertainment in South Korea and AKS (now Vernalossom) in Japan. The group composed of members:- Woollim Entertainment's Kwon Eunbi (권은비), HKT48's Miyawaki Sakura (宮脇 咲良), 8D Entertainment's Kang Hyewon (강혜원), Yuehua Entertainment's Choi Yena (최예나) , WM Entertainment's Lee Chaeyeon (이채연), Woollim Entertainment's Kim Chaewon (김채원), Urban Works Entertainment's Kim Minju (김민주), HKT48's Yabuki Nako (矢吹 奈子), AKB48's Honda Hitomi (本田 仁美), Stone Music Entertainment's Jo Yuri (조유리), Starship Entertainment's An Yujin (안유진), and Starship Entertainment's Jang Wonyoung (장원영). IZ*ONE debuted on October 29, 2018 with their first extended play COLOR*IZ. Upon its release, the group received immediate commercial success, selling over 225,000 units and peaking at number 2 on South Korea's Gaon Album Chart. In addition, both the EP and its lead single "La Vie en Rose" charted on Billboard World Albums and World Digital Songs respectively. The early success subsequently hailed them as the New Artist of the Year at several awards shows, including Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards.
