IZ (meaning "footstep" in Kazakh) is a group producing Kazakh folk music using traditional Kazakh instruments such as the dombra, khobez, sebezghe, xerter, and jetegen. IZ乐队 was formed in Beijing in 2002 by Mamerjan, Zhu Xiaolong, Wu Junde, Zhang Weiwei, Guo Long, and Erbol. They have released five albums so far.
