Inception of Fall is a progressive/technical death metal band formed in 2016 in Kroměříž and the Zlín Region of Czechia. They blend modern technical precision with old-school death metal aggression, dense melodic riffing, blistering blast beats, and intense growled vocals to craft a sound that’s both brutal and dynamic. Emerging from Moravia’s underground scene, Inception of Fall quickly made a name for themselves with a string of singles and their 2020 debut EP Builders of the World — a conceptual release rooted in sci-fi narrative that showcased the band’s technical chops and progressive ambition. Over the years they’ve built a strong live presence across the Czech metal circuit, sharing stages with acts like Shokran and performing more than fifty shows. In 2025, the band dropped the four-track EP Ruin, marking a new chapter in their evolution with raw energy, technical intricacy, and atmospheric depth that reflect both their modern death metal vision and melodic sensibility. Operating independently and grounded in a DIY ethos, Inception of Fall continue pushing the boundaries of Czech extreme metal — blending progressive, melodic, and technical elements into a relentless, forward-thinking death metal approach.
