ILL-WISHER was formed in 2015 by guitarist/singer/songwriter Christian Älvestam, as a way of paying tribute to the Sunlight studio/HM-2 Boss pedal-sound in general and the countless Swedish death metal bands he grew up listening to, in particular. Not long after having recorded the first track (being "Feast On Kings"), he was joined by guitarist/sound engineer Ronnie Björnström and vocalist JJ "Shiv" Polachek. A few more songs were written and recorded since then but unfortunately, everything was lost when Christian's studio computer of that time decided to break down (always make sure to back up your stuff, kids!). At least, that's what Christian thought. In late 2020, he so happened to stumble over a mix of "Feast On Kings", which had survived the crash. With that said, we are happy to finally be able to at least see one of the five songs initially written, released!
