Aaron Murdoch has quite a few nicknames. At school, he is known as "Poppy", short for "Poppyseed", which comes from an inside joke he'd made at school, and apparently it stuck. In music, he is known as "I3lacks" (Blacks). This is the same I3lacks from the collaboration, "Usen", by he and sinowBeat. There is a mispelling in his name in the title of "Usen", where it is spelled "|3lacks" instead of using a capital I. Introduced to Fruity Loops Studio 5 by sinowBeat, he occasionally experiments with game soundtrack style music, looking up to Jeremy Soule and Blizzard Software as role models.
