I, Parasite formed as a duo in the late 90s, playing their industrial influenced electronic-rock all over New York City. After a pair of releases on a local indie, Christopher Jon and his partner went their separate ways. Christopher went on to release I, Parasite's second full length, On This Cold Floor, to much critical acclaim. He was then chosen by producer Rob Caggiano (Anthrax, Volbeat) to contribute his electronic aesthetic to the Cradle Of Filth album, Thornography. Caggiano reciprocated with some blistering guitar work on I, Parasite's next release, the metal-infused The Sick Are Not Healing. Recently, Christopher relocated to Los Angeles and began writing I, Parasite's next album, Österlanden, which is expected to be finished winter 2015.
