hYPNOTIC hYSTERIA from Bergamo, Italy. 'Feed On Me' is the band's third album, expect something different with all kinds of influences. From tasty stoner/ fuzz/ grunge to alt- progressive rock.. Songs like 'Inside Your Mouth' & the single 'Feed On Me' kept me coming back for more. These tracks have a really interesting, catchy and even slightly dramatic tone to them, this sound makes hYPNOTIC hYSTERIA kinda fresh and unique to the genre. The third track 'Vaniloquentia' is a small, acoustic-ambient part that gives some early breathing space before going in the next 4 tracks. 'I Can't Hear You' somewhat reminded me of Tool when I first heard it (twitchy riffs/ drums & more powerful vocals) while the opening riff in Feed On Me is somewhere between Truckfighters & Dozer. So solid songwriting, great vocals + a healthy dose of variation make this album complete, and with only 7 tracks it's not a demanding listen at all.
