Initially formed by Andy as a one-man project under the name Mastectomy, in late 2008, the name was changed to Hyperemesis around mid-2009. Graham joined as a live and occasional session member in 2010, although due to distance, Andy primarily continues to record Hyperemesis by himself. Musically, Hyperemesis plays in the very authentic, old-style pathological vein of the genre. Influences are drawn heavily from early European goregrind, as well as from punk, noisecore crustcore - hence, why they're sometimes referred to as mincegore.
