Hydrosphere is the one-man project of Belgian dj/artist David Van Bockstal. His music consists entirely of free and simple samples which are altered and put together to make funky, danceable, and mostly funny tracks. Earlier tracks show influences of drum'n'bass, while later work is more minimal and serious. Hydrosphere is also known for his idiosyncratic remixes and dj-sets as 'DJ Dave'. Since a few years, he released under the alter ego of 'Vanouche'. Over the last few years, he played live at some small (mostly private) parties only using a laptop and a turntable. He also recorder several mixes, that are by name mostly relating to the season in which they were made.
