Human Wave Attack formed out of boredom, a shared love of music, philosophy, introspection, personal politics and a common world veiw. The overwhelming desire was to create the music that they themselves wanted to hear. We are: Arvid Antonsen Vocals/Guitars Matt Buckley Vocals/Guitars Denise Dunstan Vocals/Bass Guitars Andrew Hepburn Drums Human Wave Attack are a London based band, formed originally as a three piece; with Matt and Arvid playing guitars (one of which was baritone acting as bass) and Andrew on drums. After playing and booking/promoting shows around London for a year the trio first recorded a self titled mini-album which had no official release but is available free to download. Since then they have released two 7 inch singles: The Seraphic/Cape Kidnappers and Isophobia/Love it Leave it. The recordings were entirely self-funded, self-produced and self-released in September 2011 and February 2012 respectively. Both singles are available to download at itunes and most digital distribution websites. A video has also been shot for The Seraphic by up and coming director Karan Kandhari, and is currently in post production stages. It expected to be released in June/July 2012. The band have just returned from California where they played a mini-tour, promoting their respective 7inch singles including in-store performances at Burger Records, Vinyl Solutions as well as a slew of unofficial impromptu performances at house parties around Los Angeles.
